I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spaces if cost is a barrier.

Why Online Therapy?

Online therapy isn’t a second-best option—it can be a deeply supportive choice, especially for those who:

Feel safer in familiar surroundings

Being at home can ease anxiety, reduce sensory overwhelm, and offer a sense of control. You can bring a blanket, light a candle, or sit with your dog - whatever helps you feel grounded. This sense of safety can deepen the creative process, allowing images and emotions to emerge more freely.

• Need flexibility around health, mobility, or energy

Whether you're navigating chronic illness, fatigue, or mental health fluctuations, online sessions remove the pressure of travel and allow you to show up just as you are. Art therapy honours this. There’s no need to be “productive” or “perform.” You’re invited to express, reflect, and rest.

• Live in remote areas or have limited access to in-person services
Online therapy bridges geographical gaps, making specialist support more accessible - especially for neurodiverse, LGBTQ+ or trauma-informed care that may be harder to find locally.

• Prefer privacy and autonomy
No waiting rooms, no commuting - just a quiet space where you can connect at your own pace. You choose your environment, your materials, and how you show up. Art therapy online allows you to work with what’s already around you - pencil, paper, collage, clay, or even found objects, making the process feel personal and accessible.

• Want to integrate therapy into everyday life
Working creatively in your own space can help you carry insights beyond the session. Your art materials, journal, or rituals are already part of your world - therapy becomes less of a separate event and more of a gentle thread woven through your week. You might return to an image days later, notice a shift in how you relate to it, or create something new in response.

 How Sessions Are Held

Online sessions are held via Zoom or Google Meet, depending on your preference. Both platforms are secure, easy to use, and allow for a calm, uninterrupted space where we can connect face-to-face. Before your first session, I’ll send a link and simple instructions to help you feel prepared. You don’t need any special software - just a quiet space, a stable internet connection, and your chosen art materials nearby. If you’re new to online platforms or feeling unsure, I’m happy to guide you through a brief tech check during your free consultation. The aim is to make things feel as smooth and supportive as possible.

A Note on Cameras
I kindly ask that clients keep their cameras on during sessions. This isn’t about formality - it’s about connection. In therapy, so much of the work happens in the subtle moments: a pause, a gesture, the way someone holds a brush or responds to an image. Being able to see each other helps me attune to your emotional cues and offer a presence that feels real and responsive. Having cameras on also supports the therapeutic container as it helps us feel like we’re truly “in the room” together, even across distance. It allows for a sense of shared space, which can deepen trust and safety. That said, I understand that there may be moments when having the camera on feels too much. You’re always welcome to let me know, and we can explore what feels supportive for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your comfort matters.
